About Yury

Yury has been with our family for almost 3 years as our au pair and now nanny since moving out about a year ago. I am a stay at home mom who needed extra hands to help with the care of my kids! There are honestly no words to express how amazing she is. Yury came to us when my twins were three months old and my oldest had just turned 3. She is a dream with babies! She comes from a big family and it was effortless for her to help with the twins! She helped me get them on sleep schedules and assisted me through all the transitions over that first crazy year of twin life. Just recently she has helped me with potty training the twins-no easy feat!! She will bring the small potty along with her and make sure the twins use the potty while out. She had been instrumental in this big life transition! My older son is very high energy, has big emotions and needs a lot of attention and Yury is incredible with him. She is so creative with crafts and making up stories or building Lego creations. One time they made awesome buzz lightyear wings and a captain America shield out of cardboard, tape and markers👏🏻 She remains calm when he is having a big moments or is frustrated. She helps him calm himself down with breathing and distraction. I credit her with the progress he has made over the last couple years. Yury currently takes care of 2-3 kids depending on summer schedules/camps schedules. I never have to worry about the kids in her care. She is an extension of my hands and it’s effortless to hand off to her. She will pack lunches for all the kids and take them on walks and keep them outside as much as possible! She is always outside with them-rain or shine! Yury has been assisting with the kids’ laundry, keeping their rooms tidy and helping with dishes/kid related household tasks. She has watched our kids for overnight as well and I trust her completely and was able to actually relax while away! Yury is always on time, only calls out sick when she is rarely sick which has only happened maybe a couple times in a few years! She’s extremely reliable!! Yury will always be a part of our family and our kids ask for her everyday. They love her completely and it has brought me so much joy and peace to know my kids are happy, thriving and being loved as if they were her own.
