With over seven years of hands-on childcare experience as a professional nanny, I bring a deep understanding of child development, personalized learning, and creative engagement across a wide range of ages and backgrounds. Currently based in Brooklyn, NY, I have worked with families throughout the borough, supporting children academically, emotionally, and socially. I also have a passion toward tutoring, with the goal of helping students grow in confidence and competence through focused academic support.

Yordie is a wonderful caregiver. She truly bonded with our little girl, she is engaged, thoughtful, detail-oriented, responsible and trustworthy. We couldn't be happier to have her! She has become an extended part of our little family over the last two years 💖

Kind, communicative, and so great with kids!

Wow! What a gem! We hired Yordanos to watch our 1 year old son for a few days while we were in Brooklyn. She did such an excellent job with him and was so great at finding things for them to go do outside of our tiny hotel room. You would have thought they had known each other a long time - he warmed up to her in less than 5 minutes and had an absolute blast with her. Her communication and professionalism was top notch. Would hire her again and would recommend to anyone looking for help.

I am writing to highly recommend Yordie as a nanny for your family. She has been an invaluable part of our lives for the past 10 months, providing exceptional care for our four-year-old son in a nanny share arrangement with another family. Sadly, our needs have changed, and I hope she finds a family who adores her just as much as we have.

She is intuitive and can quickly grasp what each child needs from their caregiver. For example, my son is an only child who has an outgoing personality, and she makes it a priority to set up plenty of playdates and opportunities for him to connect with his classmates after school. She has been central to orchestrating after-school playgroups and I can tell that the children love her, while many of their parents have approached me to tell me how wonderful she is.

In addition to her caregiving skills, Yordie has demonstrated a remarkable ability to juggle the needs and schedules of two families seamlessly. She maintains clear and open communication with all involved parties, ensuring that both families are kept informed. She handles the logistics of the nanny share with professionalism and efficiency, making sure that both children receive equal attention, care, and opportunities for growth. 

Yordie is not only reliable and trustworthy but also compassionate and nurturing. She creates a warm and supportive environment where our son is engaged, happy, and encouraged to explore the world around him. She goes above and beyond to tailor activities and experiences to our son's interests and developmental needs. For example, she noticed that some of his friends were able to write their own names, but he wasn’t. So, she immediately created worksheets to work with him trace letters.

As parents, we have complete peace of mind knowing that our son is with Yordie. She was also flexible with her schedule, often staying late or coming to help at a moment’s notice when my son was sick and needed to be picked up from school, and for that, we are deeply grateful. She forged a kind of bond with our family that we will always cherish, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to any family seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled nanny.

Yordy was awesome with our infant son. She was kind, patient, and so engaging with him. Highly recommend. Will book her again.

Yordanos was wonderful with our 6 month old daughter, putting us at complete ease while we were on one of our first nights out. Her expertise with young children was evident, and she provided just the right amount of updates to keep us in the loop but still able to enjoy our time away. We would absolutely hire Yordi again, and recommend her to anyone else looking for a sitter!

I have two young children.  Yordanos watches my children when my husband and I need date nights or some extra help. She does a great job getting the kids ready for bed by helping them with their bath and bedtime.  She helps out a little bit around the house once they're asleep. She would be a great hire for both occasional and routine work. She takes the time to read and sing to them before bed just the way I do when I am home.  Follows instruction well.  No complaints.  I've used her many times.  Very reliable. 

She came in and immediately got down on the floor with the baby, started reading him books, and made us feel super comfortable leaving. Would love to hire her again. 

Yordanos has been with our family for over a year and she has been absolutely incredible. We are sad to see her go as she begins her new adventure. 

She is reliable, helpful, hard-working, proactive, and kind. She goes the extra mile in a variety of capacities and she's awesome at her job. More importantly, she genuinely cares about our family and our three kids. She is patient with them, encourages them, and takes the time to get to know them individually. We would have wanted to have her for as long as she could be here. 

She really is absolutely incredible and we are jealous of whatever family is able to work with her next. We will miss you Yordie!

Yordanos did a great job caring for our son (1 yr. old) for a three month period before he went into daycare. She followed our directions and asked for clarification when needed. She was very interactive and kept him engaged by reading him books, playing with him and keeping a close eye as he crawled around to get some energy out. Yordanos also took him on daily walks to the park, which he loved and we really appreciated. She was also very patient, as feeding time with our son could be a bit challenging (typical toddler like behavior of refusing food, throwing it etc.).

You could tell that our son really loved being with Yordanos and that was very important us to as this his first time being in the care of someone besides his family. She had a great connection with him and you could tell she enjoyed her job and was there to take the best care of him. We would recommenced Yordanos to help care for your child!

Yordi is a great nanny! She took great care of our daughter. She did a great job at keeping our daughter happy and engaged. She is very helpful with home errands as well. Very detail oriented and attentive. An added benefit of hiring Yordi is she takes great pics. We have lovely pictures of our daughter which look like taken by a professional photographer.

She is all of the above as well as a hard worker and very helpful around the house.  The children really enjoy being with her and spending time with her.  She would be a very good hire.

I have two children who have had many care givers and Yordanos is their very favorite. When Yordanos is watching my kids she is all in. Her intuition with children is awesome.  I always know that they are getting the best of care when they are with her and that they are having a BLAST!  

I love that Yordanos is a great example for my eight year old daughter to look up to, and my two year old son can't get enough of her. She's just what you are looking for. 

Yordanos is one of the most caring people I know, she's understanding supportive most of all a great person. she is always there when you need her and  happy to help when she can. 

Yordanos is a good person! She cares about people. She is understanding and fun . She is loving.  She loves to help others. She is very loyal. 

She is very caring and understanding. She goes the extra mile to do what needs to be done. She loves kids. She is also a hard working person. She is positive and  a great listener.
