About Carla

I am a childcare professional with over five years of experience working at a childcare center with children ages 2-5. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and have also worked independently as a childcare provider and tutor, providing individualized care and academic support. I volunteered at Montefiore Children's Hospital in the inpatient children's unit, working with children from infancy to age 12. My experience includes working with children from diverse backgrounds, personalities, developmental stages, and needs. I hold a BA in Psychology and am currently completing my MS in Bilingual Childhood Education, strengthening my knowledge of child development, learning, and behavior. I enjoy incorporating crafts, creative activities, and tutoring to make learning engaging and enjoyable. I bring a patient, caring, dependable, and attentive approach to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment children.
