She goes by L and was on time and my kid really liked her. L also cleaned up very well right before she left. However, I wouldn't hire her again. It seemed like she didn't really know how to deal with a toddler. By nature, they are very high energy and just don't sit down. She didn't know how to set boundaries with my kid either. Basically anything he pointed at, she would try to give him, instead of redirecting or saying no. Toddler safety is always top of mind when you are a parent of one. As she was cleaning up my kid after dinner, I popped in to check up on them. She had unfastened the highchair buckles and left him in the high chair while she stepped away to put something away. Thankfully I was there, but she made it seem like it wasn't a big deal. A couple other safety issues, like leaving the backdoor open, or letting him run into the kitchen while the dishwasher was open, ect. L was there from 2-6pm, which coincides with witching hour, right before bedtime. My kid started whining and getting fussy before bed (normal), and she asked why he was crying. Kids cry for any and no logical reason at all. She was a nice person, but I cannot recommend her. She admitted that she originally signed up for elder care on this app and then just started taking whatever jobs she could find. As a parent, I would steer clear.
