About Willie

Hi there! My name is Willie, and I would absolutely love the opportunity to be a supportive, encouraging figure for your family. I just moved back to Connecticut to be with my own relatives, so I understand how much family matters. I have a master's degree in Public Humanities from Georgetown University, and I received my bachelor's degree in History from Emory University's honors college. I worked a corporate research job in Washington, DC but discovered I want to pursue a path that creates more tangible change in the lives of others. As an eldest cousin to 20 cousins, ages ranging from infancy to post-college, I have a lifetime of experience engaging with children. In HS, I worked a total of two months at a JCC summer camp as a counselor for girls in Kindergarten. More recently, I have babysitting experience for kids aged 11-14. I am organized, able to assist with school work, and excited to play a positive role in such a precious period of life.
