About Maria

Hi! My name is Maria, I am originally from Connecticut. I moved down to Florida for college at Barry University and I graduated with a bachelors degree in social work and a minor in Spanish. My first experience with caring for children started at age 14. I started as a counselor in training at a large summer camp of 70 children through the Branford Recreation Department. Ever since then I have been a camp counselor every summer and worked my way up to senior counselor of the whole camp. Also, throughout the school year in high school I worked at an after school program care taking kids as well. The past 5 years living in Miami I have been on Care. com housekeeping and nannying for families too! The children I have experienced babysitting and looking after have been all ages. I am a hard working, positive, and creative individual and I love spending time with kids! With all my skills and experience, I am able to provide a supervised, safe, and stable environment for your little ones. :)
