I'd describe my personality as compassionate, humorous, and just! I love caring for seniors because the work payoff of being a safe provider and positive companion for them is priceless. I started caring for seniors when I was around 12 years old. I didn't have grandparents around growing up, but I did help my dad with his clients for years, which was a great introduction to getting to know seniors and senior care. I got my first client at 18. It's been such a rewarding field! In my spare time, I like to paint, draw, play my bass, hike, and read! I am an aspiring expressive arts therapist and want to specialize in geriatric counseling, so if any seniors would like to do creative activities with me I would be so happy! My skills include giving seniors motivation (i. e. brush teeth, bathe, eat) when they are feeling low, organization skills/attention to detail, and meal planning/cooking,
