About Maura

I like caring for seniors because I like people and I care. I treat my clients with respect and aim to support their dignity, as I would want for myself and how I want my friends and family treated. I started caring for seniors when my own mother needed help. At the time I was living overseas, taking long trips to help her for extended periods. I then went through training overseas for Elder care and worked caring for over 64 people in a residential setting. When I returned to live in California in 2021 I began working in private homes. In my spare time, I like to be with family and friends, practice guitar, singing, meditation. I like to be active in sports, to be in nature and to learn. My clients love my bathing skills, willingness to play, to have conversation, to listen to them. My client's loved one appreciate my communication and documentation.
