About Valerie

I've worked with kids since I was 13, working for neighbors or people I went to church with. I currently work as a RBT working with children ages 1-5 on the spectrum, I'm looking for something with more consistency. I have a passion for working with children and plan on being a child therapist after graduate school, I am currently a senior in college about to graduate with my bachelors degree in Clinical psychology. I have completed 2 internships, one with DCFS where I got to see first hand how important it is to provide a safe welcoming environment for children, and another with NAMI were I was a helpline specialist where I was assisting others with their daily struggles or just a listening ear when needed. I hope you will consider giving me the opportunity to work with your children!
