Since 2017, I've provided in-home care to over 10 different families--ranging from childcare, tutoring, pet sitting and senior care. It's been a rewarding experience as I am able to help when family members cannot. My biggest take-away is the importance of human interaction and connection. During the Fall of 2019, I took and intensive Certified Nursing Assistant I course. I finished the academic and skills portion, but not the clinical segment. However, I keep my CPR and First Aid training to date. During the pandemic, I was a private tutor for a family with foster children. Then, in 2021, I took a short-term Au Pair job in Italy where I worked both with adults and children. My range of experience is vast--from babies and fur babies to baby boomers. I'm available for short-term overnight positions. For example, post-surgery care or simply relief for other caregivers.
