I took a CNA course and acquired my CNA in 2020 while in high school. I did this in the state of Illinois and for that reason I am not currently certified as a nurses assistant. That being said I worked for about a year during the heat of the pandemic which gave me irreplaceable experiences which taught me quite a bit about caring for people. I worked in the memory care unit of a nursing home so I've had experience with people who have dementia or Alzheimer's.
