About Tim

Graduated from Georgia Tech in 2005 and have been a math tutor off and on since. I worked for a national tutoring company for 10 years, starting as a part time tutor and eventually becoming a curriculum developer and teacher training. In 2013 I switched careers to progressive religious education. I moved here in 2020 for my career and picked up some online tutoring kids last year. I love tutoring and am looking to pick up a few tutoring students this year. I mostly do math tutoring - all levels of school math except for AP Statistics. I can also help out with some Chemistry, Physics, and essay writing. My skills include empowering, tailoring my explanations based off how the student learns, and building confidence. In my spare time, I like to binge watch tv, write, play with my two cats, bowl, and volunteer work. I work as the full time religious educator at First Unitarian for my career, but keep firm boundaries! (And have regular background checks due to work.)
