I am an experienced healthcare worker and educator for over 20 years. In addition I am an active licensed hairstylist for over 35 years owning my own business.. I am seasoned on both sides of generations, including preschoolers up to geriatric age. I enjoy working with all walks of life . It is most pleasing to me to be able to teach the younger generations and help them experience new events as well as nurturing . For the elderly and homebound I find it very rewarding to assist with daily living tasks , meal prep or just companionship and learning from them about their lives and past experiences. I have been a care taker in healthcare agencies and nursing homes and have been certified as an HHA. I am also a teaching assistant for 10 years in the NYS school system working with kids of all ages including children with special needs. Theresa was wonderful. She came to our house to watch my son while I worked in the upstairs office. She kept him entertained while also folding all the laundry I had after just hosting family for the previous week. Highly recommend.
