My experience in child care/and/or working as a nanny has been well over 20 years. I also have taken care of my own grandchildren, the youngest being 9 months old and the eldest being a young adult. Different daycare places I have worked are the YMCA, Kid City USA, and Building Blocks Academy. Worked as a Nanny for two different families for over 1 1/2 years for two different babies. I have a grandmother type of heart and love all children, but am very skilled with babies and young children. One of my favorite things to do is to read to children to help develop their young minds. Linda worked with our family for over a year and was an integral part of our family. She took amazing care of our daughter starting at 4 months old. Not only did I trust her fully with our child but I developed such a treasured relationship with her while working from home and transitioning to a full time mom. It is worth so much to trust the care of your child and also feel so connected personally. I can’t sing enough praises for the gentleness, intentionality, as well as responsiveness to specific requests in caring for our child as an extension of my husband and I.
