About Tessa

I received my bachelors degree from UW Madison, where I received a dual certification. I have two teaching licenses: regular education MC-EA and Cross categorical special education MC-EA. Having had experience in both regular and special education has allowed me to develop skills to differentiate materials and instruction. I also have experience creating specially designed instruction for individual students in math, literacy, and social-emotional learning. I strongly encourage students to follow their passions and I will try to incorporate these passions within instruction. I will prioritize choice within instruction whenever possible, encouraging full student participation and allowing for students to show their strengths and use their autonomy and self determination.
