About Jessie

Hi! I'm a kind, patient, and organized person who can support your student through their most challenging classes. Especially with many schools going remote across the country, I believe it's more important than ever to help students feel confident in their learning. From my experience tutoring various math subjects and helping peers with essays, I've learned that my role as a tutor is to utilize what a student already knows to arrive at the answer they're looking for. This approach allows the student to feel confident and move past the fear or doubt that might be holding them back from trying a difficult problem or guessing an answer. I also think that tutoring is so important in order to hold students accountable and create a sense of reliability during such unpredictable times.
