About Teresa

Hi my name is Teresa and I am a very energetic 65-year-old. I love working with children and have been doing it for a little over 30+ years and loving every minute of it. I started working in large license home daycares for about 22 of those years to becoming a preschool teacher for 6 years to becoming a full time nanny since 2008 caring for various families I also do senior care that I have done for the past 10 years and I dearly love doing both. I studied early childhood education at Sacramento City college so that I could teach in a preschool classroom. I love watching children experiment and try new things. I love to go on nature hikes and cooking with them as well as trips to the park and the library and I love planting things with them and having them see how things grow. My philosophy is to treat each child with love and respect and to really listen to their concerns. I am also a IHSS provider thru Yolo county and I am also affiliated with Apex senior care.
