Hello. I have worked in senior care for over four years through an agency and approximately three years independently. The last two years were spent with a wonderful lady who was on hospice the whole time with liver cancer. Her and I developed a wonderful bond from the first day. Her and her family were wonderful to work for. She became one of my best friends. She lost her battle with cancer over a year ago. Her level of care started at a low level and progressed to intensive care over time. I worked in well with her team of hospice nurses, CNA's, etc. I provided back up support for her husband to help take some of the load off of him by helping with laundry, meal preparation, phone assistance, light housekeeping, dishes, greeting family members, etc. I learned to be flexible to meet the needs of the client and her husband. I miss my dear friend and would like to have the opportunity to bond with another client. I have assisted several other clients as well with various other medical conditions. I also provide services such as transportation, errands, bathing assistance and dressing, medication reminders, etc. My goal is to assist with whatever need there is that I feel capable of doing. I am a trustworthy, detailed, and caring individual. For the last 10 months, I have been babysitting infants and toddlers as well.

Teresa worked for my parents for over two years. My mother suffered a stroke in May of 2011 which left her with very limited vision. My mother had also been diagnosed with a recurrence of liver cancer which had metastasized to her lungs just prior to her stroke. She was under hospice care for two years. My mother passed away on August 24, 2013 and Teresa was with our family through it all. My mother loved Teresa and they became very close during their two years together. We all considered Teresa to be a part of our family. She was gentle, patient beyond belief, considerate, kind, thorough, and dependable. She has every quality a great caregiver should have. She knew when to give us space during our visits with mom but was never far away if we needed her. It was very difficult to say goodbye to her when her services were no longer needed. I can't say enough about the wonderful qualities Teresa possesses which make her qualified to be a caregiver for your company. She's an absolute gem!
