About Taylor

For the past four years I have been a full-time nanny to two children, a boy, 7 and a girl, 11. Working with them after school every day for so long has really given me the opportunity to help with homework and projects ranging from pre-K to 6th grade! Both children struggled with learning disorders, and I have had much success working with each of them individually to find their most efficient way of working. During the summer and most weekends I traveled frequently with the children while the parents were elsewhere, and it was my job to establish the behavioral expectations wherever we were. I also feel extremely comfortable staying with children and no additional parent support -- with the children, I was often at home with them for weekends or weeks at a time while the parents traveled. Additionally, I was often responsible for planning the events of the day, whether it be an outing to a museum or various playdates and birthday parties.
