About Tamara

With 20+ years of experience I've taught 4th grade, 2nd grade, kindergarten, and worked with special needs children in 6th-8th grade. I've also coached JH and HS sports and created two children's garden programs. I co-created and directed a preschool/kindergarten focused on family involvement, movement, strengths, social/emotional skills, gardening and community connections. Throughout this phase I also nannied for five families. In 2016, I started working in a Waldorf Kindergarten and also worked part-time as a nanny/household manager. To wrap up my graduate degree I worked with unaccompanied minors in the Moria refugee camp. When Covid hit I had to returned to the US. In July 2020, I started working as a private Waldorf teacher/nanny for a high profile family in Minneapolis. Now I work part-time as a Waldorf teacher/nanny for another high profile family here in LA and welcome the opportunity to bring my skill set, love, and attention to your family.
