About Mikayla

For our son, Mikayla was a caretaker but also a teacher. She was always encouraging our son to develop his creative abilities and his imagination. Even our son's vocabulary grew immensely while being under Mikayla's care. Our son learned to identify all his letters, understand basic addition, and even read a few words. It is a testament to Mikayla's gentle approach to learning and teaching that none of these developments were perceived by our son as "work" or "homework" but as fun things to do and figure out. Mikayla connected with our son (who loves her), helped him navigate a difficult time staying at home during the pandemic, and always tried her best to give him a sense of normalcy and a warm, happy environment. She is an incredibly gentle, sweet, and patient person with children. She always mirrored calm and gentle reactions, which our son soon began to incorporate as part of his interpersonal skills. We really can't recommend Mikayla highly enough.
