About Tamara

I am a former elementary and special ed teacher from Missouri. I moved here 8 years ago I have worked as a nanny, elder caregiver. I've worked with new borns- 94-year-olds. I love interacting with people all ages. I'd describe my personality as caring, loving, active. I like working with kids because they keep you going and it is loads of fun! I'm looking for a job that I can be with children and be a partner with their parents that will enhance and enrich their childhood. A "stand in" grandmother if you will. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old not just as a babysitter but at a preschool ( my mother's). Then after college long term over nights when parents were out of town/country. Then at 32 returned to college to become a teacher. I taught for 20 plus years and continue working with children whether it is borrowing friends grandchildren taking them to the beach or baking cookies.
