About Susan

I am an Educational Therapist, Academic Tutor, and Certified Life Coach who specializes in working with academically challenged students from Pre-K- 8th grade. My target population includes students who are struggling with ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Anxiety, Depression, and ODD. Very often, I work with students who are performing below their grade level because of these learning obstacles. I especially enjoy teaching young students to read as well as master math calculations. I believe that working with one child at a time, giving them my individual attention coupled with identifying their learning style, is what these students need to succeed in a learning environment. I provide a safe, supportive place where the words "no", "wrong", "failure", and "grades" are never used. I love watching a student not only achieve academically but develop self-confidence and a love of learning that will last their lifetime! I also work with students and adults who are interested in ESL.
