Experience: I have taught dance to children ranging from 2 years old to late teens for over 23 years. I taught preschool for 1 year. I have taught math and science in private and charter schools (grades 3rd - 12th - mostly 4th grade) for 7 years earning an exemplary TEA teacher designation and being promoted to district PLC lead in math for 2 years. My students ranked the 2nd highest in the district. I have a passion to help kids who struggle in academics find ways to overcome their challenges by recognizing their strengths and finding creative ways to help them understand the reason behind the work.
