About Stephanie

Hi there! My name is Stephanie. I am the mother to two great teenagers. My own mom was a teacher and later the director of a preschool. I discovered my love for working with children in her shadow and she taught me the value of play as a child's most important work. I loved raising my own children in the Pacific Northwest, where we have access to so many great parks, trails, and beaches. Crafting, sensory play, time outdoors, and reading were the cornerstones of my kids' early years. My primary work has been motherhood, but I've also worked as a home care aid, supporting adults with developmental disabilities. Additionally, I've volunteered with children in various capacities and currently volunteer in a weekly toddler playgroup, which I love!
