About Sophie

Hi there! I am from Mill Valley and am currently a rising senior at Southern Methodist University studying communications and advertising. I have worked in a wide variety of child care roles over that past 8+ years: babysitting for 10+ families (ages 2+), working at a sleep-away summer camp as a CIT, running large kids' parties for family friends, and working for 2 years as a summer day camp counselor teaching tennis, coming up with creative and active activities for the children, and lifeguarding while they were swimming in the pool. I loved my babysitters when I was a kid and strive to provide the same joy that they brought me during all of my work with children! I think my previous children that I looked after would describe me as a ball of fun who is patient and understanding yet knows when to draw the line. Similarly, their parents would describe me as a down-to-earth, responsible adult who provides a creative, lively, and welcoming environment for their kids.
