About Sarah

My name is Thuy (I go by my middle name instead of Sarah) and I've been working in outdoor education for the past 2 years! I've worked as a naturalist at 2 outdoor schools where I took groups of students on hikes and taught them about science. Most recently, I was the head of the barn program at a summer camp where I taught kids how to ride horses! I've primarily worked with middle schoolers, but I am comfortable with kids as young as toddlers and as old as high school. I started working with kids in college when I worked at a horseback riding summer camp. After college, I worked as a teaching assistant in New York before moving to the west coast! In my spare time, I like to do anything creative like drawing, writing, and singing. My top three childcare skills are creativity, patience, and my genuine love for working with kids!
