About Sophia

I genuinely enjoy being around kids and watching their personalities grow. I'm very encouraging and love helping children feel confident in what they can do, whether that's learning something new, working through a challenge, or simply trying something for the first time. I believe kids need someone who will cheer them on, but also someone who can set boundaries and be firm when necessary. Some hobbies that I encourage or engage with them through is games, activities, crafts, puzzles, and anything that lets them learn while having fun. I am also open to helping complete homework and studying, with previous experience being a teachers aid in university. I am happy to work with each child's personality and interests rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is to create an environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn and grow. I also understand how important it is for parents to feel that their children are in safe and caring hands.
