About Sonya

I'm a childcare provider with a decade of experience, and I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development. I have formal training in Early Childhood Education and Early Child Development and am also a certified teacher. I've completed CPR and First Aid training and am a certified doula. I believe in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. I'm creative and imaginative, and I love playing outdoor sports and physical games with children. I also enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and communicating with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise. I follow the parents' preferred communication method and am happy to provide regular updates or discuss any concerns they may have. I'm comfortable caring for one child and am open to helping with carpooling, travel, crafts, and supervising swimming.
