About Sonia

I have over 7 years of experience in higher education (research and teaching) in a humanities discipline. My PhD is in Film and Media Studies with a concentration in English, and I am especially skilled in tutoring and mentoring students in writing, editing, composing arguments, and core humanities topics/subjects. While I am eager to support students of all ages and levels, I am skilled in supporting students in the process of applying for college and/or during their transition from high school to post-high school college and career paths.
