About Claudia

I have experience supporting students from kindergarten through 8th grade. I gained valuable skills through the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program during high school, where I helped students improve their study habits, critical thinking, and organizational skills to enhance academic performance. In addition to my AVID experience, I have worked with children through church programs and city summer camps, giving me a broad understanding of how to engage and motivate students. Whether your child needs homework support, help with test prep, or building confidence, I'm committed to helping them achieve academic success in a fun, supportive environment. I am also bilingual, fluent in Spanish and English, recognized with the CA State Seal of Biliteracy for advanced proficiency in both languages. I completed 4 years of Spanish classes and achieved the highest passing score on the AP exam. I am skilled in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
