About Sofia

Hi! My name is Sofia, I'm 25 years old and I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I began working with children when I was about 13 years old and was finally allowed to be a teacher's assistant at my temple. I fell in love with working with kids younger than me and connecting with them and decided to make it a long-term goal! I am in my second year of grad school at Cal getting my MSW specializing in Strength Children, Youth, and Families. I am fluent in Spanish and am learning Portuguese. I have over 10 years of experience working with children in various settings including schools summer camps, and childcare. I believe parents are the best advocates for their children and I am willing to work with you and your child to best meet your needs. My favorite age group to work with is toddlers, but I have experience with all ages. I am available for occasional/part-time babysitting.
