I am passionate about tutoring! I have tutored students in a wide range of ages and subjects. I love the moment when a student finally understands something that has been eluding them! I am fluent in Spanish. I have tutored both typical and special needs children. I have taught English to non-native speakers. I have had great success in helping students understand everything from math to language to philosophy. My goal is to help my students truly understand the material (and hopefully learn to love it along the way). I do not "spoon-feed" answers or use shortcuts, because these perpetuate feelings of inadequacy. I believe all children are smart. They simply need proper instruction, encouragement, and a little elbow grease. I am experienced with distance learning and would be happy to help you navigate this unique school year. I am happy to do childcare along with distance learning or homework help. I will gladly comply with any Covid restrictions you have.

Sierra was amazing and helped care for our children during the COVID pandemic which was a really difficult and demanding time. She helped stay on top of their school work and transportation and helped cook meals too. We really enjoyed having her and her adorable children in our home and our kids loved her and missed her when they started going back to school. I'm not sure how we would have survived running our business without her help at that time. We would hire her again :)
