About Shriya

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, creative, loving, and empathetic I like working with kids because I love seeing the world through their curious eyes! They are in such awe of the world around them and it is a true gift to be able to be a small part of their journeys as they learn and grow! What I'm looking for in a job is an environment that is welcoming and kind. I want to be able to positively impact the child I'm caring for's development and the family as well! I started working with kids when I was 18. Fresh out of graduating high school I worked for a year as a daycare assistant at the Goddard School where I was changing diapers, potty training, playing, and teaching children from ages (mostly) 1-4. I have experience working with infants younger than 1 and children up to 12 years old as well, but the most work I did was with toddlers (around 2/3). I went to college and came back and worked there in summers, so Its something I always will love to do!
