About Shelly

I am a 43-year-old mother of 6, ages 14-24. I have an elementary education license and have mostly homeschooled by kiddos, though we have also incorporated some public and private schooling along the way. We have a daughter that got her pilot license at 18, one at Norwich University studying Criminal Justice and another doing early college at CCV for her senior year of high school. There is nothing I've loved more in life than raising my children. I have always enjoyed being outside and getting fresh air and exercise with my kids, even through the winter. We cook together, garden together and do chores together. I've always believed that fresh air, healthy food and hands on learning are key to developing healthy minds and bodies. Those and a generous dose of giggles and cuddling mixed in! I love to read stories and play games and go for walks and generally, stay busy. Making dinner and cleaning house, either during nap time or with a little helper beside me, can be expected.
