About Shekinah

I'm a recent graduate from North Carolina A&T State University with a B. S. in Child Development and Family Studies and over five years of hands-on childcare experience. Throughout college, I completed fieldwork and internships in licensed childcare centers, home-based programs, and organizations like the Boys and Girls Club. Most recently, I interned in a toddler classroom at The Sunshine House, where I planned and led activities, supported children's development, and built strong connections with families. I'm passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can thrive. In addition to childcare, I offer support with crafts, light housekeeping, and laundry. I'm dependable, patient, and committed to meeting the unique needs of each child and family I serve.
