Hello! I'm Sheila, but you can call Shay! I am Cape Verdean and speak English and fluent In Portuguese creole. I'm a mother of a beautiful 9-year-old and 2-year-old. I also have 14 years of experience with infants, toddlers and preschoolers. I come from a big family and I'm always surrounded by children. Most of my experience does come from my family but I have worked in daycares (14 yrs) and have nanny experience (6yrs) I'm hoping to find a family that I can help support, love and become my own. I love doing arts and crafts! I believe it's important for children to explore and learn through art. I also enjoy going for walks and going to museums. *First aid/ CPR certified.

Shay is a wonderful nanny that kept our little-one smiling and happy! She's an excellent communicator that's very proactive with activities planning. Appreciated that she had our 5-month old painting pictures, doing tactile-sensory learning activities, and going on local field-trips (pr-approved, of course) to local group and music events. Kept her focus on caring for our little one, and kept a clean space, doing simple chores for us on a regular basis. We found her helpful in so many ways. Incredibly helpful for maximizing our family time Excellent record keeper too. She kept a white-board tally of naps and feed times over the months that made the daily transition easy!
