About Daphne

I like working with kids because you can learn so much from them! I've always loved helping people and spending time with children, my dream career is to be a middle school science teacher. I started working with kids around the end of middle school when I was 14, taking care of two children after school. One 9-year-old and one 12-year-old with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Around this time I realized that I love being a caregiver and helping families! I also looked after their pets which was quite fun as well. In my spare time, I like to read, go hiking, and create art. I absolutely love to paint and collage and get creative!! I also really enjoy cooking and challenging myself with new recipes and cooking styles. My skills include patience, understanding, and being able to draw boundaries when necessary.
