About Shara

Hi, my name is Shara, and I first found my zeal for teaching when I was a teenager and coached 3 Special Olympic events. I have found myself on many teaching and coaching adventures since, some of which have even led me to other countries. I am a huge proponent of hands on learning and believe if the learning is fun and engages as many of the 5 senses as possible that there are no limits to the information a mind can take in and retain. My students have ranged from 10 months to one thousand, one hundred and four months (92). I have taught a wide variety of subjects both in a group setting and one on one, and have also taught all core K-12 curriculum courses while homeschooling my three boys. Two of them started college at 16, the other was able to pick any position he wanted in the Air Force after scoring very high on the ASVAB.
