I have over half of a decade of experience working as an English teacher and as a tutor with those who struggle with English Language Arts. I have a passion for teaching and a way of working with students that creates a trusting relationship leading to lasting results. In short: I love teaching! Teaching is more than just dictating - it's working one-on-one with a student and finding a method of learning that works best for the individual student - learning is NOT one-size-fits-all! These days, overwhelmed educators aren't able to spend enough time with each individual student - and the ones who end up suffering are the ones who need the help the most. I want to work with your struggling reader to develop lasting skills that will enable him/her to live up to his/her potential. There is truly no such thing as a bad reader - only readers who haven't figured out their individual method yet. I'm able to work one-on-one or with small groups.
