About Shannon

I like tutoring because it gives me a chance to connect with students and help them learn in ways that school may not have time. Every student is different and everyone learns differently so it is important to meet kids where they are. In my spare time, I like to paint, hike, read, and spend time with my dog. One thing you should know about me is I was raised in a large family and have a strong sense of fairness, sharing, and being gentle with children. My skills include being able to find a solution to any misunderstanding, working hard to make sure things are fully understood, and being flexible in how in my approach.
