About Shaina

I've had work experience with children from my family and friends with babysitting their children for a couple hours at a time, typically on weekends. My first actual part time care giving experience was two years ago when I cared for a child of a woman that I met through a friend, who was looking for someone to care for her child all summer from 8:30 to 4:30-5 everyday during the week except the weekend. The child was 4 years old and super active. So everyday we did some kind of learning activity and then an outdoor activity like play at the park. I was also responsible for making sure he ate breakfast, lunch, snack and sometimes dinner if I was needed later than my scheduled time. This was my one and only official paid work experience when caring for a child and I really enjoyed it, it was a very fun and learning experience for me.
