About Serenity

I have been working with children for about 6 years, I have been a live in nanny, I've worked with Autistic kiddos, children who have adhd, I also have experience at a learning center that provided training on lesson planning, and safety procedures! I like working with kids because they can be so sweet, the funniest things on the planet, but mostly I love being able to be apart of cultivating an environment that allows them to grow and flourish! In my spare time, I like to do anything related to art, I love to write short stories and songs. I love painting, drawing, listening to music! I love being outside. I also enjoy learning about science and psychology! I pride myself of being very patient! Children just want to understand and feel safe. I have a great skill for deescalating situations that could potentially be distressing for the child, quickly. Another skill is teaching, I incorporate a lot of hands on activities that encourages curiosity.
