15 years of experience Looking for a new family to integrate into, preferably one looking for a long term Nanny for afterschool care for school aged children. Babies are cute but I do my best work with kids 4+ My #1 concern is keeping children safe at all times, my second is to make sure we're having fun while we learn and grow. Going to museums, parks, beaches or just the local library and getting into arts & crafts projects. I'll help with homework, snacks, light cleaning and pet care. I have been CPR, AED and First Aid certified and can renew if necessary. I have my own car and a clean driving record. Always punctual and reliable. I specialize in building and encouraging healthy self esteem in kiddos. I am confident in my abilities to be an effective and compassionate caregiver. I have references available and would love to discuss any questions you might have! Kids living their best lives, that's my goal!

We hired Sasha to help care for our infant twins due to her previous experience with older twins and her pleasant personality. We understood the challenges of caring for twins, as even my mother, who initially wanted to provide our daycare, found it overwhelming to handle them alone. Our arrangement was for Sasha to care for the twins with my mother's assistance most of the time. As I work from home, I am also available to provide support when needed. While Sasha was a delight to be around, our main issue was with how she left the position. I consistently checked in with her to ensure she felt the job was a good fit, knowing that caring for infant twins can be demanding. Despite her reassurances that she was excited about the job, even though it was challenging, she abruptly informed me with less than 24 hours' notice that she would not be returning. I understand the importance of finding the right fit, and I don't begrudge her decision. However, I was disappointed by her lack of transparency during our check-ins, as she seemed far more dissatisfied than she led me to believe. Moreover, the short notice left us scrambling to find alternative childcare, resulting in my husband having to miss work. Even a day's notice would have allowed us to make arrangements with our family, who require at least some advance notice. Furthermore, during her two weeks with us, Sasha missed two days. While we were understanding of her situation, it left us struggling to find last-minute help. In conclusion, I believe Sasha would be better suited for a family with older children. However, I would not recommend hiring her for young infants, especially twins. Based on our experience, I suspect she may not take on any more infant twin positions in the future.
