About Sarah

Hi! My name is Sarah, I am currently a college student obtaining my degree in computer science at the University of North Texas. While tutoring students over the years, I've realized that every student has a learning method that works best for them. I've created many study methods and activities that show students a new way of looking at the same material. This not only gives a glimmer of interest, by not having to force the information, but also allows the student to work through information they already understand to find the correct answer. I've been able to apply much of what helped me through engineering to many of my students, no matter their age. I've tutored students from ages 7 to college level, and I have always left them feeling confident that they understand the material they struggled with. The best part, as a student, and as a tutor, is seeing how prepared my students become to move on to new material, and the new confidence that they have in themselves to succeed.
