About Katherine

Tutoring is something I have had the pleasure of doing in many forms for the past several years. I began in a college writing center and volunteer tutored before establishing myself as a private tutor -sometimes part-time, sometimes full-time. I've worked with students ranging from preschoolers to undergraduates working on their senior theses. The subjects I have taught most in are English, History, Bible, Algebra, and Spanish. I've also taught Chemistry, Calculus, Economics, and other related subjects. It's exciting to use what I've learned to empower students and help them realize their potential. Whether I'm writing or training for the next triathlon, I understand the importance of committing to something worthwhile and seeing the joy of growth. Tutoring, therefore, is more than a job for me: it's a pleasure.
