About Sarah

I have been babysitting since the earliest I could take the Babysitters/First Aid classes at age 11. I have worked at Catalina Sea Camp, a summer camp, for two years as a Camp Counselor and Office Assistant. I gained a lot of professional training in working with children of all backgrounds, ages 8 to 17. We learned and practiced how to handle a variety of emotions and pushing through difficulties in communication. This job was 24/7, and required all staff to be mentors, care givers, and entertainment providers for these children for 1 to 3 weeks throughout the summer. In addition, I have been a synchronized swimming coach at Crestmoor Community Association for 6 summers. I coached girls, ages 5 to 19, on synchronized swimming figures and routines. This included synchronized swimming lessons for girls who were just learning to swim, to advanced swimmers. I mainly coached the girls ages 5 to 14. I dealt with the issues that occurred between girls including a lot of teenage "drama".
