About Sandhya

Hi! My name is Sandhya but everyone calls me Sunny! I just moved to Seattle from Chicago a few months ago with my Mini Aussie pup named Rumi. I love to explore Washington, paint, and hike with my dog during my free time. I have recently decided to enroll back in school to pursue a career in UX Design here in Seattle. Since I'm taking self-paced courses, I have quite a bit of free time to help care for your children. My prior experience with children includes teaching Middle and High School students Social Sciences for 2 years through my graduate program at USC. In addition, I taught Autistic special needs students of all ages for a brief period in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. I also hold a B. A. in English Literature from Purdue. I'd be happy to help tutor your littles ones, if needed! I truly miss working with children, as I feel they are always so curious and authentic in everything they do.
