About Samantha

My name is Sam and my passion is working with kids! I am new to the Bay Area and have 20 years of experience in childcare and 13 years of teaching experience. I have taught preschool through 8th grade general and special education in various neighborhoods in NY. My summers in between teaching have always been dedicated to nannying; gaining diverse experience with families, including those with multiple children, twins, newborns, and two under two. I absolutely love working with kids of all backgrounds and abilities. I am very energetic and love to explore the city with the kids I care for. I am skilled at planning fun, enriching activities. I take a loving approach to childcare with a focus on building relationships, logical consequences, and fostering independence. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, crafts, baking, spending time with my pets, and exploring new places. I'm excited to bring my passion to a new family in the Bay Area and look forward to connecting soon!
