Eva has been an incredible tutor and caregiver for my two girls! I HIGHLY recommend her. I first “met” Eva over Zoom during the pandemic, when she was still a San Diego State student who was assisting my youngest daughter’s class during Zoom sessions. My youngest, who was never thrilled with Zoom classes, was always SO excited to log in when it was her turn to “read with Ms. Eva”. I observed right was that Eva was just incredibly nice, patient, kind, and helpful with all the students – even through a screen. After her student teaching was done, I contacted her through the school and hired her to provide some extra academic assistance. She was *absolutely wonderful* tutoring both of my girls, helping them with both literacy and penmanship exercises. She would take turns sitting with each child, patiently guiding them, offering gentle correction. The girls both LOVED having her help them and absolutely blossomed with her help. I can say with confidence that Ms. Eva helped both of my kids become and remain excellent readers and writers, who are both performing well above grade level. After observing her doing such an awesome job tutoring the girls, I asked if maybe she would be interested in sitting regularly as well – she was, and we were all thrilled! She was once again *absolutely wonderful*, this time as a sitter. 😊 The girls love her coming over to “hang out” (they push me out the door when Eva walks in). She is kind, caring, fun, and truly interested in their hobbies, friends, and school progress. From a parental perspective, Eva has been always reliable, respectful, and responsible; I feel completely at ease leaving the house with her in charge of the girls. (She’s also very tidy and respectful of the house itself, which I appreciate.) She has always been very responsive to calls or texts and is very understanding and flexible if I need modify her schedule. I also had the pleasure of meeting Eva’s family, and they are warm and wonderful people, so it’s no wonder that she’s such a great gal! Our own family care situation has changed, and we don’t need as much outside help (grandma now lives with us full-time), but we all miss Eva coming over regularly because she is so wonderful! Our loss could be your gain - if you are looking for a great all-around caregiver, I can’t recommend her enough!
